Sassy Cones is a premium purveyor of Artisan Waffle Cones. Through history, the waffle cone has always had a simple, sweet taste with no distinct flavor. Although, ice cream evolved and can be purchased in a wide assortment of flavors, the waffle cone remained unchanged. Imagining cones, bold with flavor, and sassy with a playful twist in color inspired the creation of Sassy Cones. Sassy Cones brings together an assortment of southern inspired flavors creating an experience of discovery in every bite while celebrating love, family, and heritage. Sassy Cones is the only African American Woman owned cone business in America.
Francis Stennis is the founder of Sassy Cones. Adopted at the age of ten to a family that made cakes, pies, and gourmet ice cream, she developed a passion and love for Southern-style desserts. From her childhood experiences, she created a thriving, successful waffle cone business. Francis is a graduate of Mississippi University for Women and received her Master Degree from Mississippi State. She currently resides in Arizona.
