Mission:
To use the power of dance to break down cultural barriers and enrich the student’s and community’s artistic experience through the creation of a diverse dance school and company.
Ballet Benefits:
Dancing in the Streets is uniquely positioned to provide psychological and developmental benefits of dance through classes and performance opportunities. Students learn self-discipline, teamwork, self-respect, and, most importantly, self-esteem. Dancing in the Streets provides critical dancing tools for helping young people to manage peer pressure, family crisis, and gang prevention. It is commonly known that artistic engagement assists at-risk youth in improved academic performance.

Dancing in the Streets students and professional dancers will have an opportunity to perform, regardless of their age, size or skill level.
Ballet Training:
Children of all ages as well as teens and adults would receive a solid foundation in ballet as a gateway to explore other dance styles such as jazz, tap, modern and more. Dancing in the Streets offers scholarships for students with income limitations.
